The rest area right before Vantage on I-90 going through eastern Washington has the most adorable little ground squirrels or chipmunks; I'm not sure what sort they are.
But oh my goodness I do love them!
I wish I could have taken more pictures of them, but they're quick and it was quite hot that day so I wanted to return to the air conditioned car.
